However, it would always take days of going back-and-forth with other office members before I would finally escalate things to Corbin. I am now with a different State Farm agent and the difference is night and day. My new office is proactive and very communicative. I do recommend State Farm but do not recommend Corbin’s office."

"After being a GEICO customer for 30+ years, I got fed up with their ridiculous rate increases every quarter so I started looking around .( I called them to see if they could do anything seeing as I hadn’t ever put a claim in and they said “Sorry”) I did not want 1 million phone calls so I did all of my inquiries online and would only answer texts. I definitely wanted to see Apple to Apple comparisons. I was inundated with texts from not only the companies i queried, but from what seemed to be every insurance company in the country. Mekenna from State Farm (Corbin Emerson Agency) was one of those that contacted me. I explained to her what I was looking for. Every time I whittled away the options, Mekenna kept rising to the top. Even though there were weeks when I was unable to go over all of the information. She was patient with all of the texting. When I was pretty sure State Farm was one of two companies, I spoke to Mekenna on the phone. She cleared up a few questions I had and honestly- Mekenna sealed the deal for me! She was NEVER pushy, but was there everytime I needed something explained clearly. My final decision was based on whether or not I’d be dealing only with her if I needed anything and she said if that’s what I wanted, that’s fine. Done deal! AND I bundled it w renters insurance!! Ps In my call to geico to cancel my policy, their reaction was 180° to the first time. They were going to lower my premium from950+ to 600+ for 6 months ( just a bit lower than State Farm) but I didn’t trust that they wouldn’t raise it the next quarter.
